Sengoku 2 Results

Sengoku 2 took place Sunday with a few big names at the event.

1. Satoru Kitaoka def. Ian James Schaffa via submission (guillotine choke) - R1
2. Mike Pyle def. Dan Hornbuckle via submission (triangle choke) - R1
3. Eiji Mitsuoka def. Kwang Hee Lee via submission (RNC) - R1
4. Jorge Santiago def. Yuki Sasaki via submission (armbar) - R3
5. Yoshihiro Nakao def. Big Jim York via KO - R2
6. Kevin Randleman def. Ryo Kawamura via unanimous decision
7. Roger Gracie def. Yuki Kondo via submission (RNC) - R1
8. Josh Barnett def. Jeff Monson via unanimous decision

Kevin Randleman was in his first fight since 2006. He was suspended a bit for steroids and then had the nastiest staph infection which bore a hole in his leg. The talk of the tournament was Josh Barnett who looked spectacular against Jeff Monson. Monson, who is a former Abu Dahbi grappling champ was stuffed repeatedly by Barnett, who was also in his first fight in quite some time.

These are some serious big names that the UFC is missing out on big time. Just the other day Dana White again stated that the best fighters fight in the UFC. He is clearly wrong on a bunch of levels.
