EliteXC's Nick Diaz could return to fight April 26th in Hawaii. The former UFC vet and current pot smoker signed a long term deal with EliteXC but was upset in his first fight by K.J. Noons in a lightweight title fight.
Diaz, who's younger brother Nate won season 5 of 'The Ultimate Figher,' had surgery on his eye to repair scar tissue. He should be completely healed by the time he fights.
His opponent has yet to be named but it won't be Noons, just yet. In their first fight Noons caught Diaz with a bunch of punches to the face and the fight was stopped due to cuts on Diaz's face. He was furious with the stoppage and flipped off the fight doctor as he stormed out of the ring.
