Kimbo Slice vs. Tank Abbott at EliteXC on Feb. 16

Kimbo Slice (1-0) will be fighting Tank Abbott (9-13) in the main event of the next EliteXC show. This fight was to have taken place in October when just nights before the fight the show was cancelled when one of the investors pulled out.
Slice, who is trying to shed the stigma of being only a street brawler, would like to show some well rounded skills against Abbott who openly admits he is only a street brawler and has trouble defending on the ground.
Abbott may not posess great ground skills but is always a knockout threat. Slice won his pro MMA debut over Bo Cantrell, in a controversial decision which had the veteran Cantrell tap out in 19 seconds due to strikes.
Former TUF 4 alum Scott Smith is also on the card fighting unknown Kyle Noke. Smith won a memorable fight against Pete 'Drago' Sell at the Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale but is currently on a two fight losing streak in the UFC since.
