UFC 83 in London

James Irvin and Houston Alexander will clash in the light heavyweight division at UFC 83. The heavy handed Alexander has had a rollercoaster 2007, bursting on the scene with a 48 second throttling of Keith 'The Dean of Mean' Jardine at UFC 71. He then gave an encore presentation by destroying Alessio Sakara in just 61 seconds at UFC 75.
He entered UFC 78 with just under 2 minutes of fight time and an undefeated Thiago Silva standing across the octagon. Silva got the fight to the ground where Alexander is at his weakest, mounted the former hip hop DJ, and poured on some serious ground and pound until Alexander was knocked out at the 3:25 mark of the very first round.

Irvin hasn't been very active with only 1 fight since tearing up his knee back at UFC 71. In his last fight at UFC 79, Irvin was blasted with an illegal knee by Luis Cane, was knocked out cold, and won the fight by disqualification.
