It has been confirmed that Matt Serra will defend his UFC welterweight title against Georges St. Pierre sometime in April in Montreal. Serra reported that his back is improving and expects to be completely ready for the fight. This will be one of the few times that Serra won't be the crowd favorite. The Montreal crowd will be rooting for the heavily favored and homegrown St. Pierre.
Other Canadians who are expected to be on the card are former TUF 4 alum Patrick Cote, TUF killer Jason Mcdonald, and UFC vet Jonathan Goulet.
